One of the last things we need to do is install the engine compartment "main electrical front harness" that connects the alternator, voltage regulator, horn relay, etc to the main system. And I hate electrical stuff - I'm no Sparky! But we're taking our time and crimping, soldering, and shrink-tubing each connection. I also needed to wire-in the SPAL fan relay and wiring, the new low beam headlight relay, and a fan on/off toggle switch in the dashboard. Man 'o man, it never ends!
First off, I found I needed to run the harness on the bottom frame tube (driver's side) to keep it away from the left header. No problem, except the harness (9 wires) was 15" too short to do this. So.... out came the wire cutters and here come the staggered crimps, solder and tubing. Follow along as we explore the scary world of "Ready Kilowatt"!
